Costa Rican SHB
There are four principle growing regions in Costa Rica’s mountainous central valley. Among them, the Tarrazu district, with it unique climate and rich, volcanic soil, has always been our favorite. The Strictly Hard Beans (SHB), the highest grade available, create both a mild and sweet cup, with a smooth full body, lively acidity and wonderful berry high notes. Although perfect for all seasons of the year, we particularly recommend Costa Rican in the hot summer months for a refreshing iced coffee as the density of the bean makes a perfect base for iced coffee drinks.
